🛶 Membership – join our club

We welcome both beginners and experienced rowers. The only requirement is that you must be able to swim at least 50m comfortably in the sea without a life jacket.

The coaches are all volunteers at the club. Please read more about our trainings.


To become a member, you’ll need to:

  • Complete a short training or assessment

  • Register and pay membership via the Norwegian Sports Confederation (NIF)

  • Join our Spond groups for training, races, and club communication

👣 Steps to Become a Member

✅ Step 1: Training or Assessment

Beginners
Join our introduction course covering rowing technique, safety, and club routines.

If no course is available right now, email us to be notified about the next one.

Experienced rowers
If you have rowed autonomously before, contact us to schedule a short assessment and intro to the club.

✅ Step 2: Register and Pay Membership

👉 Register via our page at the Norwegian Sports Confederation.

You’ll soon receive an invoice from us.

✅ Step 3: Join Spond

We use Spond for:

  • Training signups

  • Race/event registration

  • Communication with coaches and other members

Regular with dugnad 🛠️ 750
Student 750
Children (with parent supervision) 50

*Membership is reduced to 750 NOK for the year if you participate in the season opening dugnad, where we all get together to help with maintenance and preparations at the club at the start of the season.
